Already upon its formation in 1973 in Bonn, the firm’s interdisciplinary approach was fundamentally established. From the outset, Richard B. Eimer as commercial and corporate lawyer, Dr. Hermann Heuschmid as specialist lawyer for family law and Prof. Dr. Volkmar Mehle as specialist lawyer for criminal law subscribed to a holistic approach in providing legal advice and representation for their clients.
Over the course of 35 years in the meantime and operating as a nationwide law firm, we have always continued to pursue this interdisciplinary approach with currently 19 lawyers in Bonn and Berlin. We have consistently implemented such in practice to the benefit of our clients.

Born in 1972 in Münster. Admitted to the bar 2001. University studies in Bonn.
Mr. Arens advises clients regarding all corporate law issues from company formation, drafting of articles of association to also shareholder disputes. He represents shareholders with negotiations related to the purchase or sale of shares.
In addition to the corporate law orientation, Mr. Arens provides support to companies in trade law, including the structure of their contract relationships or also the enforcement of accounts receivables. As a result of the regular court representation of a receiver in insolvency, Mr. Arens also has many years of experience with providing advice related to liability risks in an economic crisis.
Mr. Arens completed the specialist training for cooperate law and tax law of the German lawyers “Academy (DeutscheAnwaltAkademie)”. He is entitled by the German lawyers academy as a specialist solicitor in tax law and corporate law .

Born in 1943 in Rheydt. Admitted to the Bar 1973. University studies in Bonn and Freiburg.
Dr. Heuschmid is co-founder of the law firm Eimer Heuschmid Mehle and specialist lawyer for family law. He is particularly known nationally in the field of family law with extraordinary success and distinction. He represents all clients for family matters such as divorce proceedings, maintenance matters, advising spouses living separately or divorced, family companies as well as execution of last wills and testaments.
