At Irwin Mitchell, we’ve long recognised the value of strong international networks. Our relationship with Avrio Advocati goes back decades, with my colleague and fellow partner Bryan Bletso playing a leading role in developing that connection. Bryan is head of our international strategy and oversees the development of the Irwin Mitchell international project. Bryan serves on the Avrio board and continues to be an active and passionate advocate for the network.
Like Bryan, I have been involved in Avrio for many years, attending my first conference in Lisbon in 2015 and I’ve come to really appreciate the strength and spirit of the group. It’s a network where professional respect, personal relationships, and practical referrals come together. I now feel very much part of the community and regularly refer clients to Avrio members as well as receive inbound instructions from firms across the network.
As Bryan puts it:
“Our membership of Avrio Advocati has opened up a wide range of opportunities—not only for me in my own practice, but also for colleagues across various departments at Irwin Mitchell. It’s a trusted network where we can collaborate with top-quality firms around the world.”
Looking ahead, many of our team are excited to attend the upcoming joint Avrio and IAPA conference in Cambridge this June—a fantastic opportunity to further strengthen relationships and share ideas with our peers around the globe.
In a globalised legal market, being part of Avrio Advocati gives us a vital edge—allowing us to support our clients internationally while being backed by trusted local expertise.
